More Miniature Burgers

I saw a photo of a scrumptious burger from my news feed and it inspired me to create more miniature burgers. My first mini burger was a bit small in diameter, now these new ones are a bit bigger so it won't be hard to scale it with some drinks too :)

Here they are...

Miniature Quilled Hamburgers

The trays are 1 1/2 inch x 2 inches.

Miniature Hamburgers

Hamburger with tomato, lettuce, cheese and patty with a side of fries and extra large drink.

This miniature hamburger has a side of onion rings :)

This one has cheese and bacon with its patty.

Miniature Milkshake, Salad and Hamburger

This one has a strawberry milkshake and salad on the side :)  All of them has a black and regular sesame seed on the bun :)

My First Miniature Bakery Stand

So I was thinking how I can display my paper sweets and there's no better way to do it but to create a miniature bakery!


So I searched  for some materials in the house since I wanted this to be a "Recycle challenge" at the same time and I found a box insert from a gifted perfume, some scrap paper and some deco paper from my Paper Boutique scrapbooking book :) and viola... I've made my very first miniature bakery stand... and here it is..

See the plates and trays? Those are just scrap paper that I decorated. Then the blue bowl is from my daughter's doll house that I borrowed :)

It doesn't look like it was made by a grown up :) but hey... this is just my first so I'm pretty sure I can make a more professional looking stand next time.

New Cupcakes!

Oh my, sorry for the long hiatus on posting. I hope you guys had a great weekend!
As the title say, here are my new quilled cupcakes.

I'm just curious how these would taste like if they were real :) I hope they taste good!

Miniature quilled cupcakes

These cupcakes are 1cm x 1cm in size, I just added some quilled strawberries and chocolate sticks as the toppings to them.

Miniature Sushi Box

One of my cousins posted a photo of a sushi platter on facebook and it got me inspired to make a sushi bento box using the quilling technique.

I gathered my white and black papers then started rolling them up with some red, orange, yellow and green papers for the filling.

And voila... my own miniature sushi bento box!

I also added some california maki there, that's the sushi with the orange cover :)

I've also added a tempura topped rice and some green and orange rolled up paper to make some carrots and cucumber.

As for the box, I molded 2 tight coils into a square then glued together to make a rectangular base, then I covered it with a lime colored paper to make the box wall.



This miniature sushi box is about an inch long and 1 cm wide. I just covered it all with glue at the top to make "shiny".

Miniature Fruit Tarts

 I love fruits, I think there's no fruit that I don't eat. I specially love them on my dessert so while researching for a local place that serves good fruit cakes, I came across some really cute miniature fruit tarts on the web and that inspired to make my own quilled miniature fruit tarts!

I started with picking the right colored paper for my tarts and when I got I want, I just started rolling them up!

The base is composed of two parts, the one at the top is composed of one big tight coil then I surrounded it by 10 tiny coils then the bottom part is 1 huge coil consisted of 3 pieces of peach colored paper.

I've added some strawberries, mangoes, oranges and berries for the miniature fruit tart toppings.

Each one is about 1 cm in diameter.

Sorry my ruler is a bit messy :P...

Miniature Coffee pot and coffee cup

I'm a coffee lover. I have it in the morning to start my day and in the afternoon when I'm just chillin' or working. I was very inspired to create more miniature cups and pots ever since I made my very first miniature teapot.

So without further a do... here is my miniature coffee pot and coffee cup.

Of course what's a coffee break without some muffins? 

The top of the miniature coffee pot is detachable.
